What a brilliant day, we could not have anticipated a better turnout. The 2016 ATBC picnic was held at Jack Roper Reserve and it was favourably embraced by all those that attended.
There was plenty delicious barbecued meat, salads, dips, bread and cold drinks. There was a great atmosphere and it was wonderful to see our community enjoying themselves.
The children received Commonwealth Bank showbags and many gifts were presented with out Annual Raffle.

The Australian Turkish Business Council Held their Annual General Meeting on Thursday 25th February at the Hume Global Learning Centre.
Many Guests and Members attended the AGM. Attendees dined on a large array of Turkish food and socialized prior to the meeting. Read more
The ATBC hosted a very informative Economic Seminar at the Sofitel Hotel. Many of our members attended to hear CBA Chief Economist Craig James deliver an insightful, financial lecture.
Our members enjoyed a three course dinner and drinks whilst being enlightened with up-to-date economic knowledge and trends.
This year our members were given a great pleasant surprise. At the end of the Seminar, the attendees were entertained with vibrant song and music performed by Turkish band ‘DeJaVu’.
After the music was over, our members were happily socialized before heading home.
The ATBC Annual General Meeting was held at Hume Global Centre on the 23rd February, 2015.
As with previous years, many of our members attended the meeting. A superb array of boreks and edibles were enjoyed by all those who attended.
It was a dark, cold and wet Friday evening, but the weather did not stop our guests from promptly arriving to enjoy a special evening with the Victorian Premier, the Honourable Ted Bailllieu.
Once seated inside Gardenhurst Receptions, our attendee’s quickly shrugged off the cold. The atmosphere within the Reception was one of excitement and warmth, as the guests anxiously awaited the arrival of the Victorian Premier.
On Sunday the 28th February, ATBC held their first Annual Picnic at Greenvale Reservoir.
The weather was rather cool but it did not hinder the brave and eager Picnic lovers from enjoying their day. The Children played ball games and had lots of fun. The men and women socialized as they consumed the tasty, barbecued food.
Our ATBC members and guests enjoyed the Annual Iftar Dinner which was held at Leila Receptions on the 16th September.
On the 31st July, the Commonwealth Bank invited all ATBC members to an Economic Seminar at Leila Receptions. Those members who attended had a very informative and entertaining evening.
Craig James, who is the Chief Economist at the Commonwealth Bank, delivered a detailed economic forecast, focusing on the International economy and how it will affect our Australian economy, the Australian dollar and Interest rates. It was indeed a privilege to receive economic insight from one the most respected Economists in Australia.
